Calciflore composes an intimate topography where matter becomes memory.
Shaped in porcelain and tinted, 660 discs connected by a thread trace a subtle transition from sand to silence, from deep beige to light. This weaving
evokes both extraction and transformation: a fragment of an inner shore, born from memory and polished by time.
The work questions perception, the slow metamorphosis of buried emotions, the way the past imprints itself in the details of matter.
The Porcelain Weavings series explores porcelain as a sensitive structure, at the intersection of wall sculpture and installation. Composed of individually formed units that are then linked together, the works are constructed through repetition, variation, and the tension of relationships.
Each element retains its singularity while contributing to a coherent whole, where intervals structure the balance of the composition. These works develop architectures of relations in which equilibrium emerges from the meticulous assembly of elements and the precision of the gesture.
