Toute la dentelle du monde
Toute la dentelle du monde (All the Lace in the World) weaves a reflection on the invisible bonds that sustain life. Thousands of hand-shaped porcelain discs, connected by a discreet thread, form a delicate structure in which each element depends on the others. At its centre, a motif of lace-textured discs gives rise to a circle, the fragile heart of a collective balance.
The piece questions what connects, what holds together: those subtle, often invisible threads that, if broken, would cause the whole to collapse. It is a suspended lacework, a vibrating structure, where the poetry of interdependence is revealed. It gives form to the world’s fabric, made of fragile connections and silent interdependencies, that upholds the collective in all its vulnerability and beauty.
The Porcelain Weavings series explores porcelain as a sensitive structure, at the intersection of wall sculpture and installation. Composed of individually formed units that are then linked together, the works are constructed through repetition, variation, and the tension of relationships.
Each element retains its singularity while contributing to a coherent whole, where intervals structure the balance of the composition. These works develop architectures of relations in which equilibrium emerges from the meticulous assembly of elements and the precision of the gesture.
