Chronolithique III

Chronolithique weaves a sensitive dialogue between matter and memory. By juxtaposing hundreds of stoneware and porcelain discs in vertical strata, this weaving recomposes a fictional geological core sample, both an archive of time and a metaphor for the identity of the present. The work questions the traces and the connections we leave within the thickness of the world. Chronolithic invites a meditation on memory and on the brevity of the materials of living existence, in contrast to geological immensity.

The Woven Porcelain series explores porcelain as a sensitive structure, at the intersection of wall sculpture and installation. Composed of individually formed units that are then linked together, the works are constructed through repetition, variation, and the tension of relationships.
Each element retains its singularity while contributing to a coherent whole, where intervals structure the balance of the composition. These works develop architectures of relations in which equilibrium emerges from the meticulous assembly of elements and the precision of the gesture.
